By now you may have heard the buzz about Artificial Intelligence (or “AI”) even if you do not work in “IT”. It’s nothing new to use historical knowledge and data to predict the future, and even help make real-time decisions. In manufacturing and retail, historical data has helped to set inventory levels and time promotions. This is often referred to as predictive analytics. AI extends this to perceive and act based on any mix of data that is sensed or is made available through any number of channels.
